Surrey VCS Infrastructure ConsortiumIn response to ChangeUp - counties across the UK have either produced or are working to produce Infrastructure Investment or Development plans for their regions. The Surrey VCS Infrastructure Consortium is made up of representatives from a range of voluntary and community sector groups, local borough and district councils and Surrey county council. The work of the Consortium has progressed throughout 2005-2006 and the Surrey Infrastructure Development Plan (SIDP) was submitted to the Government Office of the South East at the end of March 2006. 'The end at the beginning' said Jean Roberts-Jones, Chair of the SIDP consortium. 'Now the hard work starts!' The plan contains straight forward actions which the consortium will work with partners to deliver over the coming years:
